After the recession hit, he has lost his job and now starting on his own venture.

Amit, thanks for the kind words, one clarification I'm not sure the layoffs were a direct result of a recession more continued business restructuring.
Michael thanks for pointing that out.
Your earlier post on losing job was also worth reading and very inspiring.
